Denise de los Reyes, BSN, RN

Denise has been a nurse for 31 years. Started out at Touro-Infirmary and Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. From there, she entered the healthcare insurance industry as a concurrent review nurse and clinical trainer which transitioned her into special projects where she became the clinical liaison between UM/CM/DM/GA and IT as her organization transitioned to new a new software application which also integrated with their claims systems. 

Current day, she assist with the implementation of healthcare plans at Independent Living Systems as well as providing support to end users while defining business requirements and product enhancements to help support the various lines of businesses. She guides management staff to make informed decisions on the options that are available or recommendations to improve their system. 

She loves a good challenge, hence she loves  finding solutions to make the management team and users work more efficient. Her passions are UX/UI Design, Instructional Design, Microlearning, QR Codes, SQL, letters and Web Administration!

Side note: love art fairs, sumi-ink art, stain glass and is a foodie!

Katrina is an experienced nurse, specializing in clinical informatics for over 8 years. Since 2006, she has been dedicated to improving healthcare through technology. As a soccer mom, she finds joy in cheering her kids on from the sidelines. Katrina also loves traveling and cherishing quality moments with her family. Nursing informatics captivates her because it blends her passion for patient care with her enthusiasm for leveraging technology to enhance healthcare outcomes. With her expertise and compassion, Katrina strives to drive positive change at the intersection of nursing and technology.

Krystal Castillo is honored to serve as the Secretary for the ANIA South Florida Chapter, bringing a wealth of experience and dedication to the role. With a background in nursing and a Master's in Health Informatics and Analytics, Krystal has spent nearly 6 years in the dynamic field of emergency healthcare, showcasing her versatility and commitment to excellence.

In her current capacity, Krystal actively contributes to committees within the healthcare domain, demonstrating strong organizational skills and leadership.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Krystal finds fulfillment in building connections with friends and family, exploring diverse cultures through travel, and immersing herself in the world of literature. Her faith is not only a personal anchor but a driving force behind her passion to contribute positively to healthcare improvement.

Katie is the Director of Informatics for Catholic Health Services in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Her days as an Informatics Nurse are spent managing the EMR systems and integrated technology of her organizations Skilled Nursing Facilities, Rehab Hospitals and Nursing Homes.  She love working as part of the interdisciplinary team and guiding the creation, implementation, and management of improved workflows and standardizing processes throughout her organization.
