The American Nursing Informatics Association (ANIA) South Florida Chapter supports nursing informatics professionals across the region by fostering education, networking, and leadership. The timeline reflects the chapter’s growth and impact over time.

Our journey through the years....

2016-2019

📍 Chapter Formation:  ANIA South Florida Chapter is established.

The Southeast Educational Committee was formed (North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Central Florida, South Florida)

2022

📈ANIA National Conference held in Hollywood, Florida

South Florida & Central Florida joined forces and hosted a Welcome Table and sponsored Dinner

👩‍💼Denise delos Reyes joined as the Chapter Secretary

2023

🏆Achievement:  ANIA South Florida Chapter becomes the 1st in the Southeast Region to become an ANIA Distinguished Chapter! 

🤝Members participate in HIMSS Educational Events.

🤝Established volunteer leaders for activities.
