My healthcare journey began with the surprising directive, "You're going to nursing school!" — a testament to the US Army's uncanny ability to see potential even when I couldn't. Twenty years (and counting!) later, I’ve traded combat boots for clinical scrubs, then seamlessly transitioned from the urgency of emergency and maternal-child care into the strategic realm of Informatics Nursing. For the past decade, I've absolutely thrived on shaping healthcare's digital future, proving the Army's foresight was spot on. After achieving the Board Certification from ANCC in Informatics, I am now completing my Doctorate in Nursing Practice program.
