Aliza Gorji

I have been a Registered Nurse in New York State for over three years. Throughout my nursing career, I have primarily worked in rehabilitation and long-term care settings, where I have developed strong clinical skills in patient-centered care, interdisciplinary coordination, and patient safety. My experience has allowed me to build meaningful connections with patients while ensuring high standards of care in often complex and fast-paced environments. I am currently working at Terrace View / ECMC Rehab Center as a Registered Nurse, where I continue to strengthen my clinical expertise and contribute to improving patient outcomes.
Alongside my professional role, I am actively pursuing my Master’s degree in Nursing Informatics, with an anticipated graduation date of December 2026. This academic journey reflects my commitment to integrating technology with healthcare to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and overall quality of care.
Although I am relatively new to the field of informatics, I am deeply passionate about this specialty and highly motivated to grow within it. I am particularly interested in healthcare technology, the application of artificial intelligence in clinical settings, and optimizing system efficiency and workflow processes. I am especially drawn to solutions that improve patient safety, reduce errors, and support healthcare professionals in delivering more effective care.
In my spare time, I enjoy traveling and discovering new places, watching movies—especially drama genres—and exploring new experiences. I have a strong interest in learning about different cultures, trying new activities, and continuously expanding my perspective both personally and professionally. I am excited to continue growing both clinically and academically, and I look forward to contributing to the future of healthcare through innovation, technology, and compassionate care.
