Cynthia Russell is a registered nurse with over 40 years of experience, the most recent 15 years focused on clinical informatics and project management in the role of an informatics nurse specialist. Currently, Dr. Russell supports the Frederick Health Hospital nursing division in the development of evidence-based practice, research, and education. Additionally, Dr. Russell shares her expertise with students in the role of adjunct faculty. Her focus is on informatics concepts of integrating nursing information, knowledge, and wisdom while enabling health care delivery through technology promoting the health and well-being of people, families, and communities.
