I have worked at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas my entire nursing career. I started in 1989 as nurse tech while attaining my BSN. I spent 23 years in direct patient care working med-surg (colo-rectal/urology), wound/ostomy nursing, and as a unit supervisor. I have spent the past 13 years with clinical informatics. I am married with 2 adult children and 2 amazing grandchildren! Family and my church are very important to me.
