    Hello Justin,

    So sorry it has taken so long to get back to you. I am not certain with your career interest if becoming a certified Nurse Informatics Specialist would be something you would be interested in?  While my certification is in Healthcare Informatics, I believe the process of preparation for the exam helped me to learn to communicate and understand the world of healthcare (nursing) information management. There are great HIMSS resources to assist you with preparing for CPHIMSS exam as well as Nursing Informatics Bootcamps to prepare you for the Nursing Informatics certification exam.   Let me know if you are interested in discussing this more.   oscott650@comcast.net
