Dawn Collison, MSN, RN-BC, CPHIMS



Dawn Collison is a Clinical Informatics - Clinical Risk Analyst currently contracted with Innovation Health Partners. Her responsibilities include program development, management, education, analytics and reporting related to CMS Risk Adjustment. Dawn is an independent contractor with Elsevier, Inc. in their InOrder product division.  Her responsibilities include development, updates, standardization and optimization of clinical provider order sets and research pages across all disciplines of clinical practice, as well as across the care continuum. Dawn’s clinical background includes 20 years of practice in Intensive Care and Emergency Departments.  Her last 10 years have been focused in Health IT roles, which includes account management, implementation project management, and independent consulting. She obtained a diploma in nursing from the Milwaukee County Medical Complex – School of Nursing and her Masters of Science in Nursing, specializing in Nursing Informatics from Walden University. She maintains the American Nurses Credentialing Center board certification for Informatics Nursing (RN-BC), as well as Certified Professional in Healthcare Management Systems (CPHIMS). Dawn’s passion is the strategic use of evidence-based practice and clinical decision support to measurably improve healthcare.

Sherri Duarte, MSHI, RN




Sherri Duarte is the Director – IT Customer Relationship Management for Nursing/Consumers at HonorHealth. Her role is focused on developing and maintaining relations with executive leaders ensuring IT is a strategic partner, acting as a liaison between organizational clinical and business partners and IT in order to understand the needs and opportunities of nurses and patients as consumers, and serving as a conduit of communication providing feedback and ensuring customer needs are met.

Sherri earned her BSN from the University of Pennsylvania in 1992 and Master’s in Health Care Informatics from Grand Canyon University in 2012. Her 20+ years of clinical experience was focused mostly in the Emergency Department but includes Pre-op/PACU, Critical Care education, and air and ground ambulance transport. She has been in Health IT for over 6 years in various roles including Credentialed Trainer, Application Analyst and Supervisor, Manager – IT Applications as well as her current position.  She is certified in ITIL Foundations v3 and the Epic OpTime and Anesthesia Applications. Sherri enjoys bringing her nursing knowledge to IT and helping non-clinical staff understand the impact technology has on clinical users and, ultimately, patients and patient outcomes. She lives in Phoenix with her husband, David, a chef, and their four dogs.

Mandy Shackelford MSN, RN




Mandy Shackelford is currently the Clinical Informatics Supervisor for HonorHealth. They are live on the Epic EMR platform. She has been working as part of the EMR team for seven years. She became a credentialed trainer for the ClinDoc application with the initial John C. Lincoln Go Live with Epic in 2012 and transitioned to Informatics. Prior to her supervisor role, she was the primary informaticist for the John C. Lincoln campus. Her areas of expertise are CPOE, Clinical Documentation, provider/clinician support for multiple Epic applications, optimization governance and leading the informatics team. Some of her clinical focus areas are with the network Stroke team, Promoting Interoperability team (formerly Meaningful Use), Hospitalist Collaborative and Readmission Reduction team. She has also done some work with our ambulatory practices for the Virginia Piper Cancer Care Network and Phoenix Neurological Associates Go Lives. 

Mandy has earned her MSN with an emphasis in informatics from Grand Canyon University. She originally obtained her BSN from Northern Arizona University.  Mandy's Clinical Background areas are PCCU and long term care. She previously held the PCCN certification and is currently studying to obtain board certification in informatics.

Lisa Rapasky, MSN, RN, CEN



Lisa Rapasky is currently working as a Clinical Applications RN at Nobilis Health.  She works with two EMR vendors in all settings of healthcare including hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, and outpatient facilities in both Arizona and Texas.  Her responsibilities include building system to facility specifications, upgrades to current EMR, training clinical and non-clinical staff, auditing and analytics, and providing immediate support for staff through help desk support.  Prior experience includes becoming a credentialed trainer for the emergency department’s clinical staff and working with IT staff while a bedside nurse to enhance staff and patient experience.

Lisa has earned her MSN with an emphasis in informatics from Grand Canyon University after achieving her BSN from Arizona State University.  Lisa’s clinical background includes the areas of telemetry and emergency.  She holds a certification for emergency nursing (CEN) and hopes to obtain her certification in nursing informatics later this year.
