Hello everyone,
I'm Lyssa Hapgood, a new member of our local chapter. I'd love to get involved in committees, special interest groups, and especially projects where I can contribute and build experience I can highlight on my resume as I pursue a role in health informatics. I am not able to attend the upcoming Boston conference, but I'm hoping to connect locally.
I'm a registered nurse and nurse manager, and in my current role I oversee medical operations across 30+ health centers nationwide. I'm currently pursuing my MPH with a concentration in health informatics, and I'm working to build proficiency in Power BI, Python, and SAS. I'm eager to support applied informatics work-dashboards, data analysis, presentations, workflow/process improvement, or quality/safety initiatives.
I'd love to connect with nurses already in informatics and learn from your experience.
