PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The session will discuss if and how nurses prepared to seamlessly incorporate technology into clinical practice? There is so much technology to navigate: Virtual Nurse, Electronic boards, Smart Pumps BMDI, and so much more.
TARGET AUDIENCE: All professional nurses.
OUTCOME: To enable attendees to state potential areas of change in academic and clinical settings to better prepare new nurses to clinical practice using the technologies available.
Requirements for Successful Completion: RN participants must register prior to the program, attend the entire program, and complete the online evaluation by the due date to receive nursing contact hours.
NURSING CONTACT HOURSC: 1.5 contact hours will be provided.
ACCREDITATION: Drexel University (DREXEL) College of Nursing and Health Professions, Division of Continuing Nursing Education is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
standards for integrity and independence: The Drexel ANCC Accredited Provider Unit will collect information from all individuals in a position to control content regarding financial relationships with ineligible companies, analyze the data for relevant financial relationships related to the educational content; and mitigate relevant financial relationships. The results of this analysis will be reported in the course presentation materials on the required handout.
