I work at the University of Kansas Health System, and have for the past 11 years. My previous experience includes Progressive Care, solid organ pre and post transplant, and case management. I am currently an Optimization Analyst for the KU Cancer Center's Bone Marrow Transplant and Radiation Oncology Departments. I manage projects, lead change management, and initiate process improvement when it comes to clinical use of the electronic medical record. Though I no longer have patients, I'm helping more than ever before, along with being an advocate for the healthcare provider.
I am currently attending graduate school pursuing an MSN/MBA in MidAmerica Nazarene University's dual degree program. When not studying, I like to spend my time visiting local events and attractions, reading, or traveling. These things are made especially enjoyable when I get to do them with family and friends.
