I graduated nursing school 20 years ago. I worked in critical care for 5 years before I began working as a case manager in home care. I spent 13 years in clinical documentation integrity before going back to school for my MSN in informatics. I fell in love with informatics during my MSN rotation which was over 4 years ago. My current role is Senior Informatic Specialist for INTEGRIS Health supporting Patient Logistics, Care Management, and Population Health Services. I have a certification in Clinical Documentation (CCDS) and Nursing Informatics (NI-BC). Founding leader of the Oklahoma ACDIS Chapter and previous member of the ACDIS Leadership Council.
