I've worked in the healthcare industry since October 1996, starting as a file clerk for Business Services at AnMed Health Medical Center to a nurse educator at Clemson University. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree on May 11, 2001, from Clemson University. Later I earned my Master's degree in Nursing Education from Clemson University on May 13, 2011. I earned my PhD in Nursing from the Georgia Baptist College of Nursing of Mercer University on August 20, 2022. I am currently an Assistant Professor at the Clemson University School. I am an affiliate member of the Clemson University Virtual Reality and Nature (VRN) Lab and the Center of Addictions and Mental Health Research (CAMHR). I also serve on the Mental Health America Board of Directors for Anderson County, Technology Coordinator for the South Carolina Nursing Education Simulation Alliance (SCNESA), and President of the South Carolina Nurses Foundation (SCNF). In 2021, I earned a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) certification.
