Bio

Tajuane has more than 25 years of healthcare clinical experience.  She is an experienced people leader with a demonstrated history of working in the healthcare and higher education industries.   Her clinical experience spans across several practice settings to include student health, physician practice networks, inpatient hospital, long-term care, and home health.  She has more than 15 years of nursing leadership, management, and quality improvement experience as well as more than 10 years of nursing informatics experience.

She is an adjunct faculty member at Harrisburg University of Science and Technology, Regis College and Grand Canyon University. She has taught Community Health Nursing, Nursing Leadership, Research and Evidence-based Practice and Nursing Informatics.  She also works as a consultant, helping health care organizations leverage informatics solutions to drive quality improvement efforts, enhance the patient experience and achieve organizational goals. 

Tajuane earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice at Liberty University.  She holds a Master of Science in Nursing with a Healthcare Systems Administration focus from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and graduated from Midlands Technical College with an Associate of Science in Nursing. 

Tajuane lives in Columbia, SC with her husband, Bernard.  She is active in church and enjoys watching sports, shopping, and travel. She and Bernard have two adult children.
