Let’s congratulate one of our very own Tara Padgett MBA, RN, NI-BC, Clinical Informatics
Manager at Advocate Health in Rome GA on co-presenting at the NC Epic User Group Meeting.

Tara and her colleague Ginny Bass, MSHI, BSN, NI-BC presented, “Clinical Informatics:
Healthcare’s Secret Weapon”. This presentation focused on how a health care enterprise
empowers Clinical Informaticists (CIs) to lead optimizations across their health care
organization. They focused on the role of the CI which has emerged as a transformative
force—bridging clinical expertise with cutting-edge technology to create workflows that are not
only efficient but deeply patient-centered. Tara and Ginny examined how Clinical Informaticists
are the architects of streamlined processes, ensuring that every click, every data point, and
every decision supports better outcomes for patients and providers alike in today’s rapidly
evolving health care landscape.
