Metropolitan Ministries Volunteering Event - Tampa

Join us for a rewarding volunteer experience at Metropolitan Ministries in Tampa, Florida! We invite you to come help us make a positive impact on our community while supporting our mission to provide vital services to those in need. Event Details: Dress Code: Please wear long pants (e.g., jeans or sport pants), closed-toe shoes (e.g., sneakers or tennis shoes), and a T-shirt . Be sure to dress comfortably as you'll be actively helping us out! Parking: We have a large parking lot directly in front of our office at 120 E. Ross Ave . Additionally, an overflow lot is available across N. Florida Ave at 2001 N. Florida Ave for your convenience. Check-In Location: Upon arrival, please check in at our Volunteer Engagement Center located at 120 E. Ross Ave, Tampa, FL 33602 . Our volunteer coordinators will be there to assist your group and provide any necessary instructions. Registration: To ensure a smooth experience, please have all participants pre-registered, including a digitally signed waiver by a guardian (if applicable), at least 2 weeks prior to the volunteer event. Miles for Moffitt: Run/Walk for a Cure

Lace up your running shoes and join us for the annual Miles for Moffitt 5K and 10K race, a fun and inspiring event that combines fitness and philanthropy in support of cancer research. The Miles for Moffitt race supports the Moffitt Cancer Center’s groundbreaking research and life-saving initiatives. Every step you take and every mile you conquer will help fund cancer research, providing hope for patients and families affected by this disease.
