This webinar will introduce an approach for understanding human factors involved in accidents and incidents using the Human Factors Analysis and Classification System (HFACS). The HFACS framework offers a structured method for identifying human errors in such events. Participants will explore the four HFACS levels: organizational influences, unsafe supervision, preconditions for unsafe acts, and the unsafe acts themselves. The session aims to enhance understanding of how these factors interact to cause accidents/incidents. By utilizing HFACS, attendees will gain insights into identifying root causes, implementing effective safety measures, and fostering a safer organizational culture.
