Sara has been a nurse since 1987 and practiced in many nursing specialties over the years. She began working in nursing informatics full time in 2005 and became certified by the ANCC in Nursing Informatics in 2010. After earning her Masters in Nursing Informatics in 2013, she has worked in a variety of settings including a large academic medical center and a large national corporate health system, adding more certifications along the way. She enjoys bringing technology to the clinicians that makes their jobs easier and more efficient and learning new things every day. Being a part of ANIA in the role of chapter president is an exciting opportunity! In her free time, she loves paper crafting and marshmallows.
