Kathy Smith MS, RN works within the Clinical Informatics Systems Governance and Operations (SGO) team as a Consulting Clinical Analyst at HCA. In her current role, she coordinates Evidence-Based Clinical Documentation (EBCD) agnostic business requirements across multiple inpatient EHR platforms. Kathy has well over 20 years of clinical experience in the management of patients in the cardiac, medical-surgical, orthopedic, rehabilitation, and home health settings. She graduated with a Masters in Nursing with an Informatics Specialty from the University of Colorado Denver. In her spare time, Kathy enjoys attending musicals, concerts, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
