Introducing the Maryland/Virginia ANIA Chapter

We’re excited to share an important update for our community. Beginning in 2026, the Central Maryland ANIA Chapter will officially become the Maryland/Virginia ANIA Chapter.

This evolution reflects our growth and commitment to strengthening nursing informatics across the region.

What this means:

- Expanded regional reach and collaboration

- Greater opportunities for networking, education, and leadership

- Continued alignment with ANIA’s mission and values

The same engaged community, now broader and stronger

We’ve Moved to a LinkedIn Page!

We’re excited to announce the launch of our new LinkedIn Page!

Why the Change?

Originally, we started as a LinkedIn Group where individual members could post updates and share content. While this allowed for personal contributions, it limited our reach and visibility, there was no central space for followers to engage consistently.

What’s Different Now?

By transitioning to a Page:

• We create a unified presence that’s easier to follow.
• Posts maintain poster anonymity while allowing multiple admins to manage content.
• Engagement is streamlined with regular updates, shared educational opportunities, and broader visibility.

The LinkedIn Group will be sunset in the near future. We encourage everyone to follow our new Page to stay connected and informed.
