  • 1.  Looking for preceptor for my MSN-Nursing Informatics praticum

    I am a nursing informatics student at Capella University. I need a nurse informatician to precept and/or mentor me for my Practicum. I currently live in Dallas, TX but will not mind to travel to my preceptor/mentor. Please, help. Thank you. Kristi

    Kristi, an FYI that you put this posting in the Meaningful Use Forum not the Open Forum so only a limited number of people will get this.  I would recommend reposting in Open Forum.

    Have you tried the VA?

    My, name is Almetta Love a student at Walden University Capstone course. Looking for a Preceptor in Nursing Informatics to help me complete the Capstone course.  I have a Preceptor and a site here in Houston that has a Masters' degree in Informatics Technology, specialty in pharmacy. The site is affiliated with Walden University.

    The role of the second preceptor to meet the field experience study requirements. The Nurse Preceptor is not required to be at the site every day but is to meet with me at the site at appointed day and time.
