Dr. Kathryn Fleming is an accomplished healthcare professional with a comprehensive background in education, quality, and informatics spanning over three decades. With a Ph.D. in Biomedical Informatics focused on Health Care Administration, Kathryn has developed and led initiatives in virtual nursing and telehealth, particularly during critical periods such as the COVID-19 pandemic. Their career encompasses significant roles in acute care, disease management, academic settings, and the insurance industry, where they have implemented system-wide programs for evidence-based practice, research, and quality improvement. Kathryn is also proficient in accreditation processes, having worked with standards such as NCQA, Magnet, CCNE, and the Joint Commission. An experienced educator, Kathryn has taught at undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels, consistently integrating advanced data analytics and program evaluation into their work to drive healthcare innovation and improvement.
