Call for Nominations!
Greetings Tennessee ANIA Members,
Nominations for next year’s Board of Directors (BOD) are now open! This is a great opportunity to get involved and share your ideas. We are looking for a President-Elect, Education Chair, and Treasurer. All positions are two-year terms. Those elected will begin their term on January 1, 2025.
All nominees must be current ANIA members. Self-nominations will be accepted. Nominees should include a brief biography with your submission. Send all nominations to aniaoftennessee@gmail.com.
Deadline for nominations is October 4, 2024 at 23:59 (CST).
President-Elect
The TN ANIA President-Elect shall primarily orient to the role and function of the president for the first year of their two-year term. The president-elect shall perform such other duties as may be assigned to him or her by the president or by the board. In the absence of the president or in the event of his or her inability or refusal to act, the president-elect shall perform the duties of the president and, when so acting, shall have all the powers of and be subject to all the restrictions upon the president.
Treasurer
The TN ANIA Chapter Treasurer will maintain a ledger of financial accounts, will provide such reports as required by ANIA, and is responsible for the annual submission of required IRS documentation.
Education Committee Chair
The TN ANIA Education Chair provides leadership to the chapter in the design and creation of educational and networking events with Informatics professionals. Educational events are centered around timely and relevant topics and trends in Clinical Informatics.

Members will receive a REDCap survey prior to the election window.
