We are excited to extend an invitation to you to join our local chapter of ANIA, the San Diego Regional Chapter of ANIA. As a member of ANIA, there is no extra cost to be a part of the chapter. Membership is included as part of your ANIA national membership. Our chapter meets once every other month on the second Wednesday of the month from 5:30 to 7:00pm. So far, our meetings have been located in La Jolla on local hospital or corporate office campuses.
The chapter meetings are a great way to network with other nursing informatics colleagues in the area as well as to learn about and discuss relevant topics in the Nursing Informatics specialty. We have been honored to have expert speakers on a wide range of interesting topics including Meaningful Use 2 and 3, Connecting via Social Media, the Latest trends in Nursing Informatics, the regional Health Information Exchange (San Diego Health Connect) and Project Management. Our chapter is starting to plan an annual conference and we are hoping to spread the word and continue to grow our chapter membership participation with colleagues passionate about nursing informatics.
